Followed by wrapping your two-inch sections of hair in the same direction around your curling rod or a KQC istick Wand and hold until the heat distributes through your hair, usually a couple of seconds. When you wrap your sections of hair vertically around a curling rod or wand, always wrap them in the same direction so the hair falls in a perfect, S-shape pattern. Leave out the ends of your hair when doing this. I like to wrap the hair away from my face however if you are going for old Hollywood Glam then I would recommend wrapping the hair inward toward your face. Whichever direction you decide to keep it consistent throughout your hair. Once all of your hair is curled allow the curls to cool before brushing them through. After they have cooled brush through the waves with a boar-bristle brush and then mist them for hold with a bit of hair spray, Design Me Hold Me. 
Is your goal to gain more lift at your roots? Then do not skip this step, be sure to add some Electric London C-8 Volume Chalk lightly into your roots. Lastly, if you want more shine then finish off with a shine spray like Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray, which smells divine.
